Beat The Winter With Yoga

One of the most simple forms of yoga exercise is silent meditation. If you do some silent sitting daily, following this technique can truly help diminish stress and make you overall more healthy. To make this a little more relaxing you can clear a decent space, open the shades and provide a lot of refreshing sun light and light a candle, look at the flame for as long as possible without blinking. This will help you get into a trance and focus on your breathing.

Breath in and out very slowly and feel the air circulate your body and the stress and negative thoughts leave your body when you exhale.

This ideally helps with weight loss and stress reducing, you really can't beat this! Some have even compared this breathing technique to self hypnosis.

Weight Loss Surgery

Recently I have been getting a lot of requests asking for information about weight loss surgery. This is a very personal decision and nobody can tell you if it is right for you and your situation. My first suggestion is you need to talk this over with your family and a medical profession. Both your general practice physician and a specialist in the field of weight loss surgery.

Getting opinions of both is critical because the specialist is of course going to want to make money by doing the surgery(as in other professions there are good and bad and honest or dishonest doctors).

Personally I feel this decision should be used as a last resort after all other forms of weight loss are attempted or in very extreme cases when determined necessary by the doctors.

Elliptical Trainers For Weight Loss

Over the last few weeks I have been trying to lose more weight. I was shedding those extra pounds but in recent weeks I had to work harder and harder to lose less and less.

One of my fitness friends suggested I get a piece of fitness equipment at home. I was torn between an elliptical trainer vs a treadmill. Ultimately I decided on an elliptical trainer and could not be more happy. I will keep you updated as my weight loss progress continues. Currently I am at 180 pounds.
